After much anticipation and with great pleasure, Tradiebot Industries announces its partnership with General Motors and Collision Hub in the launch of a joint project designed with the future of collision repair in mind.
Even when repair procedures are available, quite often the complexity of vehicles on the road today makes repairing them a challenge, which is why Tradiebot’s advanced software solutions in the field of Immersive Technologies was a perfect solution to a nagging issue.
Using CAD files provided by GM and utilizing our WorxAR Suite proprietary design studio, Tradiebot collaborated closely with GM’s lead engineer, Nathanial Skutt, and Collision Hub’s Jason Bartanen, to address a repair issue with the pre-2018 Silverado.
General Motors’ commitment to the safety of their customers was critical in driving the project so when traditional methods of information dissemination were still ineffective, Tradiebot’s groundbreaking work in Virtual and Augmented Realities was critical and Collision Hub’s social media presence and a stellar reputation for promoting proper and safe repairs was essential in getting the message out to repairers.
Up until now, Augmented Reality has been a technology solution used only in such hi-tech industries as aerospace, robotics, military applications, and advanced medical fields.
